Playing at Niagara Surf changed my view of soccer. It brought a more competitive atmosphere while also being able still have fun. The opportunities that coach Andre have gave me, changed my soccer career for the better. With the clubs focus on development, it led me to a top division 2 school in Florida. I am so thankful for everything that the club did for my soccer career.

It wasn't until I came to Surf that I realized that my dreams of playing post-secondary could actually be a reality. Surf has provided me with a positive and competitive training environment, and endless amounts of opportunities to showcase my abilities. I never thought I would have been exposed to the culture that came with trialing in Portugal or returning and reconnecting with the people that I met there. I feel as though without these opportunities I wouldn't be where I am today. Not to mention the family-like atmosphere and friendships that this club has connected me with. Thank you to the coaching staff for their continued support and encouragement to push me to where I am today.

Soccer has always been an outlet of mine growing up and I knew from a young age that I wanted to continue in post-secondary school, but I was scared of the unknown. I was unsure where to start that process and honestly afraid of the rejection that might come. No matter what came my way, the people at Surf stuck with me and pushed me towards success. They are the reason why I have gained these countless opportunities, whether it’s playing in endless college showcases, training with great coaching staff, getting the opportunity to participate in a two week trial in Portugal, and now getting the chance to play NCAA D2. This academy gave me some of my favourite memories and opportunities I will never forget. Playing for Surf didn’t feel like team, it genuinely felt like a second family over these past years.
